Venue of the week – Excelsior Hotel Gallia

Gallia Front EntranceOriginally opened in 1932 and recently refurbished by celebrated Milan-based studio Marco Piva, the Excelsior Hotel Gallia in Milan is truly reflective of the iconic city in which it sits; sleek, stylish and sophisticated!

From the minute you walk through the Belle Epoque-esque threshold into the lobby which is a modern celebration of 1930s Art Deco design, it is clear that every effort has been made to make the hotel feel modern, but while always paying tribute to its past.

The hotel boasts an impressive 235 bedrooms including 51 themed suites including the €20,000 a night Katara Suite, described by the hotel as the ‘epitome of quintessential refinement’, a statement we would have to agree with! Spanning a staggering 1000m2 and sleeping up to eight the Katara Suite includes four bedrooms, kitchenette, two terraces, Jacuzzi and private entrance, to name but a few of its features.

The rooms are all fantastically well equipped, with large televisions with sound bars, free Wi-Fi and brilliantly modern bathrooms, the perfect place to relax after a hard day shopping!

The meeting space on offer is as stylish and impressive as the bedrooms. The Excelsior Hotel Gallia has a total of 12 meeting spaces, the smallest accommodating a board meeting for 10, the largest, 420 in theatre style. All meeting spaces have either built in LCD projectors of large televisions and there is Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

If you’re looking for somewhere to eat or have a drink the Excelsior has this covered, with the Terrazza Gallia rooftop bar and restaurant and the Gallia Lounge and Bar, there is no shortage of options.

No matter what your event this hotel will be able to accommodate, and accommodate in style! With three Maserati Quattroportes to take you in and out of the town centre and one of the most visually stunning hotels in Milan, the Excelsior Hotel Gallia is the event exchange team’s venue of the week.
